IWWF European Council Elections
2026 – 2030
When February 2026 – Standsted – Great Britain
Term: 4 Years
Apply by: End November 2025

Are you interested in being involved in the administrative side of the sport? Do you want to help to create/update the Rule Book? Would you be interested in being involved in the Education of Officials? Do you like helping to organise events (both large World/Euro Championships and smaller grass roots)? What about looking at Event structure, heat systems etc?

Are you interested in the progression of our sport, do you like to get involved, do you have time, are there things you would like to change? If your answer is yes, please get in touch and we can help you through the election process.

You need to be a member of your Federation and will need your federations approval to stand for election, the federation approval should be sent as a letter/email to the President of the Council, you can send over email to : CableWakeChair@iwwf.sport

We believe that the council should regularly have new members and succession planning is really important to us, a few of the existing council members are retiring at the end of this year, and so it is important for the next generation to step up. (Don’t worry though – the retiring members have all offered their assistance to any new members and will happily buddy up with them to help with any transitions if needed/wanted.)

If you choose to stand for election and you have your federation approval we will need a short bio from you with your picture, so that we can send out your details to the voting members of IWWF Europe (Federations)

Looking forward to hearing from likeminded people who really want to improve our sport.

Please be aware that all Council Positions are voluntary unpaid roles. The council where possible will ensure that out of pocket expenses are covered for work completed but there is no salary involved with these positions.
