Ukkohalla - the northernmost Wakeboard Park
In summer 2008, the first Cable WakeBoard centre, northernmost in the world, has opened in Ukkohalla. Already in the planning stage, the track has gained a lot of attention around the world. Especially Cable WakeBoard enthusiasts have welcomed the news of the Ukkohalla Cable WakeBoard centre with excitement.
The 900-metre cable water skiing track at the Cable WakeBoard centre includes unique, incredible jumps and rails designed by Reiliseppo. The cable water skiing track offers you excellent facilities for wild jumps also in the summertime. You can reach a spectacular maximum speed of 60 km/h. In the wintertime, you can use the track for transfers from the cottage village to the slopes or downhill skiing and tricks.
The WakeBoard centre will be built in the vicinity of Hallan Saaga, with easy access to the Saaga sauna and pool facilities. In the wintertime, season pass holders can try Cable WakeBoarding free of charge for one day.
