Spring into the Season Press Release

On Sunday JBSki hosted the first competition of the season and despite the cold wind the April weather was fairly good. 40 riders turned up to compete for international ranking points, a spot on Team GB and to catch up with old friends and have a good time.

Cable Wakeboard Australia takes the next step!

The 2012 Cable Wakeboard Nationals were held at the Cables Wake Park at Penrith  on the 13th of April and all agreed a huge sucess. Organiser and Chief Judge Lauren Ormsby  was thrlled with the event  with over 65 roders on site and a packed day of riding.
However the Nationals were not the only significant event on the weekend. The AWWF held the inaugural Special General meeting of Cable Wakeboard Australia and formed a new Division for Cable Wakeboarding. Steve Dipple (CWWC Member) was named interim Divisional Director.
 

World Championships 2014 will be hosted by Norway

The 2014 Cable Wakeboard World Championships will be hosted by the Telemark County at the Norsjø Cablepark of Norsjø Ferieland in Sauherad/Norway.

European Championships 2012 - Press Release 1

IWWF LogoIn September September, Toulouse, France will host the largest ever Cable Wakeboard and Wakeskate European Championships. The cable is situated on a popular lake and the crowds are sure to be large with spectators watching the fight to become the 2012 European champions.

IWWF Competition Boards

The Cable Wakeboard World Council are please to announce the IWWF Competition Boards. Starting this year ALL riders will be required to use a standard board at all competitions. We have introduced this rule to standardize equipment and remove any unfair advantages. This is in preparation for the Olympic Games in 2020.
