IWWF Europe Africa Congress attracts 24 countries this year

With Federation Presidents and delegates from 24 Countries represented at the 2013 EA Congress in Unterageri in Switzerland last weekend, as this was not an election year, more time was available than usual to discuss several important issues.

 32 nationalities and over 200 Riders – this is what the Cable Wakeboard Worlds 2012 brought to the Philippines. 
An impressive event hosted by Deca Wakepark in Clark, around 2 hours drive from capital city Manila.

WAKEBOARD MAKES COMPREHENSIVE BID FOR 2020 GAMES INCLUSION TO THE OLYMPIC PROGRAMME COMMISSION IN LA

 The Olympic Programme Commission is responsible for reviewing and analyzing the programme of sports for the Olympic Games. On Wednesday, December 19th 2012, seven sports which were earlier shortlisted for possible inclusion in the 2020 Games, were each invited to make a presentation to the IOC Programme Commission in Lausanne Switzerland. This was a major opportunity for all to put their case to the Commission.

GERMANY, GREAT BRITAIN & REPUBLIC OF KOREA TAKE MEDALS AT CABLE WAKEBOARD WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPS IN THE

 With 32 countries represented by over 200 Riders, the entry level to these World Championships attracted the very best athletes in the sport of Cable Wakeboard. As one of the sports shortlisted for entry to the 2020 Olympic Games, the level of interest in the event was extensive.
